Last Run of 2007

Was out for my last long training run of 2007. 16miles was on the schedule but increased it to 17.4miles which meant that I managed 1,200 running miles in the year.
Was joined for part of the ride by Joe Skipper. He was riding back to Lowestoft having ridden with Velo Club Norwich in the morning. It was nice to have some company for a short period.

Cob Web Century Ride

A tri-anglia training century ride to blow away some of those festive cob webs and to burn off some of the Christmas Pudding. More here.

Christmas Festivities

It's been a busy few weeks with Christmas festivities and no time to update the blog.
New Years eve celebrations to look forward to tomorrow.

Yeee haaa - no rain

Cycled outside today for the first time in 10 days without being rained on. In fact I've only had one dry run in that time too.
It was bright and sunny, so didn't mind the standing water on the road. A brisk little ride working on cadence takes me to 6,900 cycle miles for the year. Just 100 miles left to do in 20 days to get to the target of 7,000 miles. Only 16 to go to equal last years total - should get that on the turbo tonight.

My 21st Blood Donation to be accurate.

Never particularly keen on the process but it is a good thing to do.

Will have to have some wine to celebrate.

Norwich Half PB

Another PB today at the City of Norwich Half Marathon. Took a minute off my Amsterdam Half Marathon time and I had intended on treating the race as a training run. Perhaps the wind and rain helped? Time was 1:32:37.
